What a bad day for motor racing in Namibia. The 2nd Leg of the Namibian Dirt Oval Track Championships had to be cancelled due to a lack of entries.There were only 4 cars! Four! Gertjie Truter came all the way from Windhoek - Ice-cream car included - but had to go back with nothing! 4 entries people! FOUR! This is NOT good for the sport! And it was not as if this event was scheduled last week........it was scheduled on time and right here on facebook in this group!. I think party politics need to stay with the politicians. Really! PLEASE, Namibian Motorsport need your support! Drivers, cars, support crew, spectators, officials, the Government, NMSF, businessman, who ever.......we NEED your support!!!! PLEASE!!!! The 2nd Leg of the Namibian Dirt Oval Track Championship will be rescheduled for a later date. You will ALL be informed! Watch this space!
