This time for SPLATTERLANDS By reader Matthew Booth! ------ CREATIVE BOUNDARY CROSSING HORROR I was initially reluctant to buy this, as Im not a fan of very gory or sadistic horror. I havent watched Texas Chain Saw Massacre or Saw for that reason. However, having read and enjoyed Dark Visions One and Two from these editors, I decided I would trust their judgement. I was rewarded with a group of stories which were well written, and definitely challenging in many ways. I think it must have required significant courage for the authors to write these stories without self censoring in the interest of taste or acceptable subject matter for fiction. While its fair to say that this collection would require a *Trigger Warning* if published on the net, it was inspiring to see writers willing to put it all out there.
