What a beautiful day for yet another successful Farmers Market. The weather was beautiful ... I couldnt have wished for a nicer day. The bluff was a busy place all day with Chalk the Block kicking off early. During our set-up this morning we got to watch the artists getting their canvas areas ready for drawing. The temperature was perfect and the view from the bluff was amazing. We were very busy today and saw so many of our friends and patrons, and got to visit with quite a few out-of-town visitors who stopped by our booth. The line-up at Silver Beach started early and the line meandered its way up and around all the way to the corner of Port & State Streets. The fountain reopened today and was packed with kids having a great time. We sold out of many of our products, including Lemonade and Limeade, as well as our new Maple & Bacon muffins ... those muffins were amazing (many thanks to my baker, Laura)!!! At least the unpacking once home went fairly fast today, but Ive got my work cut out for me this next week. If you have any suggestions for something youd like to me to make, just drop me a line. Im always open for suggestions! Have a wonderful weekend ... I just woke up from a brief desk nap and now its time to start planning for Market on August 9th!
