What a beautiful tribute so such an amazing man yesterday. The school gym was full of multi generations of people who called this man Mac, Dad, Grandfather, Uncle, QuAck, Qwackers, Mr. Mac - it was just so beautiful! We got to meet Amelia, the namesake for the beautiful waltz he wrote for her when she. Was just 3 years old. We watched a slideshow while his musician friends played it. We got to hear countless stories from friends and family members that made us all smile . We were treated to hearing several of his songs being played by a multitude of musicians. After the service we went to the country club to meet family members and share more memories. Later there was a contra dance at the town hall in his honor. No doubt he was looking down on us all saying Heeeeyawwww! Speaking of That - this was my favorite part of the entire day! Thank you Derek!
