What a day!! A year ago I got caught speeding on the motorway in Scotland. I was doing 81 mph, didnt realise it at the time but cant deny I was breaking the speed limit. After a year of worrying and 2 court appearances today it at long last concluded. After being treated like a mass murderer the judge delivered his verdict. At the previous hearing I was informed I was looking at a six month ban and a hefty fine. No licence, no job. Its been an extremely worrying time. The verdict .............. 3 points and a £100 fine!!!!!! Phew!!!! I am extremely grateful and I have ultimate respect for the justice system, but I was treated worse than people coming in for stealing and assault charges etc. But hey, it was a good outcome. Expensive with the barristers charges (I was told I had to have one, no one else had one) but its over x off for a glass if wine xxxxxx
