What a day. Got up early to go to King for the SPCA run. Meet up at the Settlers Monument and started the ride. Futa on his bike and me on the trike. All went well up until short of the Amalinda off ramp. Trike lost power and them I noticed the smoke. Trike on fire. Me stuck on the Hi-way and not a single car stopped. Futa turned around when he realised I was no longer behind and came back. Then a young black gent stopped, grabbed a large wire cutter and dug up some soil which he and Futa tossed onto the fire. Trike now needs to be totally rewired, re-sprayed etc. etc. etc. A lot a prayer needed for funding and inspiration.
