What a day! Preached this morning from Luke 12:13-21; The Fate, Folly of a Fool. Scripture says God calls the man a fool. The man had to be a thinking man, a planning man; who became a successful man. But his #1 Self deceit (forgot God), #2 Self centeredness (forgot Fellowman, and #3 Self condemnation (forgot he had to spend eternity somewhere) led him to be labeled a fool. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet lose his soul. He wanted to save his fruits while talking to his soul; when he shouldve been saving his soul. THEN....went to Sparta Hill United Methodist; where I came from Ezekiel 37:1-10; Hope in a Hopeless situation. #1 LOOK (see delimna), #2 Listen (to Word/God) for deliverance; #3 Live/Learn (to insure/assure) destiny....while my daughter Evette Kamarrie Titus were there, and Chancely L Smith, after church atmosphere was set by his sister, Chandra L Smith through praise/worship. God is good. The same daughter who was born when her Daddy was in a valley; heard him preach how to get out of your valley (a low depression between two high places). I am LIVING proof of how God can change a Hopeless situation into one of joy and Hope. Past, and Present situations dont have to ruin Prospects of our future!
