What a day from hell! First of all, I want to say kudos to all that work in the healthcare field, seriously! : ) Both my kids woke up sick/have been getting sick for 2 days now - sore throats, fevers, coughing & crabby! No appts available at the clinic, but sent to outpatient at hospital - which, long story short took 1 1/2 hours... At 11:45 we were deemed sick enough to see our doctor --- at 1:00 : ( So, at 12:55 we seated our butts at the clinic - to wait - 1 hour later we saw a doctor and were sent out the door with prescriptions for each! Oh, and also got to be a courier for the dr office - yeah, take your own throat swab back to the hospital lab... Yoh! So, from start to finish - getting my kids some meds took 6 hours! Upon arriving home I was to administer the first (& double) dose which apparently doesnt appeal to their palate and resulted in puke - on the couch, tv remote & carpet... Thank god my kids (almost) never get sick!
