What a day yesterday! Started out at 4:30 driving to pick up Red Cross Van. After scraping off the ice and warming it up, drove North on the very curvy Briggs Rd, NE of Gun Lake. Just before Briggs meets Bass Rd. Noticed a car in the ditch. A young man of 25, said he was in there since 1:20am (he manages the Hastings Burger King, and was on way home to Wayland, after closing the BK) I told him I had to pick up a lady in Middleville and take her to Hastings Dyalysis, and he could come with me and stay warm. Then on the way back I would go switch the Red Cross Van with my truck and would pull him out of the ditch. And that is what we did! He told me his car was in the shop and this was a lease. So we were very careful lol! Had him on his way home by 6:20. He had to be back to BK by 2pm. He said I get a free BK meal and I laughed and said, Give your minimum wage employees a Free Meal.-----lol
