What a fantastic time that was had by all who were able to make it to the Assumptiontide Festival at St. Mary The Virgin, Thornton in Craven, and afterwards at All Saints Broughton, where everyone enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch which was followed by Benediction at the church. Thanks to Fr. Ian Brooks for leading the service, and to Fr. Tom Davis for preaching. Finally a big thank you to Fr. Nicholas Turner and Deacon Ann Turner and the people of the Parish for hosting the festival. Pictures will follow on here and on our website. Heres hoping you all get home safely.
