What a great day I am having! First got to spend some great time one on one with my mother. Who brought lunch in fact ate outside in the garden great to be back using a wheel chair daily! Then after mom left I was part of a Wisconsin State Senate Meeting that included Transportation Dept, Tourism and others. The Sargent at Arms office worked with me over the last week to insure I was at the table to be active in the meeting just like I was when we had meetings before the pick up hit me. I appeared larger than life during the whole meeting on a video wall in room 411. Senator Dave Zien made sure I was a part of what we all work to start. Proud to report the meeting went great and I feel we will have something to show as a result come spring. Then I got a surprise visit from Janelle Mueller and Ron Mueller my in laws (in picture). How great they are to me just I feel like have always been their son I even gained a brother in the deal Richard Mueller. They arrived before the end of my Senate meeting but we still could visit and it ended soon. We had a great visit always fun to have friends and loved ones visit when I am feeling good. They commented on how much better I was looking and it was no smoke and mirrors because I feel a lot better. They had to leave when Cindy Johnson the visitor stealer called to see where they were, thats ok Ill share them with her.;) She is the one that introduced me to my whole new family. Also got a card in the mail (pictured on my leg) from Aunt Eileen Jentsch and Uncle Don her message was great and time perfectly, seems those that have been through some big challenges know just what to say and when to say it. To those of you or there that having been sharing what worked for you Thanks, you guys know who you are. ;) Got my weight done and lost another 7lbs it the last couple days getting close to dripping below that 300 number. Thats got me feeling excited! Also the leg is out of cast, splint or other covering it has been in from August 1rst great to be able to look up and see it as pictured! I love looking at it the surgeon said twenty years ago there would have been no way to save it. Just thankful its looking like we will save the leg! It all stated with a bystander nurse who came running over to help and knew what to do and a paramedic who took it to the next level. To those that help August 1rst I will be forever grateful you are my heros! I promise we will keep in touch and meet again when I am walking! Thanks to everyone for your support motivation, support and prayers. It all is helping make this all possible!
