What a great effort in having both the Cowboys and the Cowgirls in next weeks Grand Finals against Kootingal and Walcha respectively. Kootingal are unbeaten this year. I recall in 2001 in the Cowboys first season we went through the season undefeated until the Grand Final and you guessed it Kootingal beat us in the Grand Final. 2014 would be a good year to return the favour. COWBOYS UP Meanwhile in the League Tag Walcha were undefeated this Year until the Cowgirls beat them last Saturday. Walcha came from behind to defeat Bendemeer in an epic final yesterday with the game going into 25 minutes of the second period of golden point before Walcha kicked a penalty goal to win the game. The Cowgirls are playing well and will need to be at their best to beat Walcha again. COWGIRLS UP We need as much support as we can muster at Kootingal next week. Kootingal have a great following and we need all our supporters, friends, mums, dads, brothers, sisters, brothers, grandmas, grandpas, aunties, uncles, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives and anyone else you can get to come to the game next Saturday. Even if they have not been to a game this season get them to come along to support the Cowboys and Cowgirls. We not only want them to come along we want them to come along dressed in Cowboy colours. Let everyone know that the Cowboys and Cowgirls are in the house to play. We still have some pools and shirts available if anyone wants to buy them. COME ON THE COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS
