What a great evening with my girls. First, we went for a very long bike ride through our extended neighborhood. Oh yeah, and on my first new bike in 30 years (Happy early birthday to me!). Then we played a short, but rousing, game of Monkey in the Middle. Finally, we borrowed an air pump from our nice neighbors (yes we have nice ones here) and blew up the inflatable water slide that Nana and Pops got the girls as a housewarming present (How cute is that?). Cant wait to try it out tomorrow! Now some quick cool showers and we are relaxing before bed. I might not be able to compete financially but spending quality time with my girls is all they really want. And I have plenty of time with them for that!
