What a great night for high school football! First Caseys - TopicsExpress

What a great night for high school football! First Caseys Roosevelt Roughriders defeated Garfield 17-7 to clinch the Metro Leagues Sound Division title. And then up north, Ingraham defeated Chief Sealth 28-27 - and, are you ready for this Evelyn Iritani and David Horsey and Casey Corr - behind the newly anoited starting quarterback Brandon Iritani, who scored a touchdown. Little brother Tad led the team in tackles. Oh, and did I tell ya that at the Roosevelt game, a group of South Africa exchange students joined the RHS cheer squad and led cheers? And there was a battle of the RHS and Garfield bands, two of the nations best? Oh, what a fabulous evening! And for all my Oak Harbor Wildcats-Alumni friends, the Wildcats won, too! seattletimes/html/highschoolsports/2024751903_garfieldroosevelt11xml.html
