What a happy day. Roger is back at CHWC Montpelier and had such a busy day. Roger is eating (HE FINALLY GOT A PUMPKIN COOKIE) his sister Carol brought him some this morning and I had a dozen with me when I got there today. Roger did have some stomach issues BUT was due to a medication to help his potassium levels so they took him off that so hopefully that will help him. Roger had PT and did really well. I told him he better enjoy tomorrow and Sunday (He does have PT at 9am tomorrow) cause come Monday he is going to work his butt off all week. Roger gained 5 pounds (The one thing UTMC did right) because Roger can eat but not enough to give him the protein that he needs so they suggested he needs the food tube on all the time. The Dr at CHWC agreed. We do have a very simple request for anyone who visits him. He has a breathing thing that he MUST do every hour 10 puffs (If he is sleeping no big deal) Roger knows he must do it (It helps with the lungs) but he is sneaky and says he does it. So if he gives you grief tell him Amy said so and tell him you will tell me or Melissa Go Team Roger Go. Thanks again for your prayers and good JUJU coming, we appreciate it so much. Roger told me today that the browns will beat the Steelers on Sunday. We shall see.(Dont tell my Dad but I am rooting for the Browns) Amy Reynolds
