What a happy day! Weve been trying so many different techniques to get Kemzey to communicate. One is bringing an object to me. Today she kept bringing me her big bouncy ball so I would bounce her on it. Its one of her favorite activities from therapy. Then she brought me a smaller bouncy ball from her room and giggled as I threw it in the air and caught it. After that, she sat in front of me and stuck out her tongue, so I did too and she kept pointing to my tongue. Then she actually paid attention while I named other body parts on her. It was awesome! She has never interacted so well for so long. Im so grateful also to Diane and Kelly for teaching me these different communication techniques. These ladies are amazing and so great with Kemzey. Baby steps but were making some progress!
