A treatise on the Pistis Sophia. For those who are not aware of - TopicsExpress

A treatise on the Pistis Sophia. For those who are not aware of the literary existence of the Pistis Sophia, it is a compilation of gnostic dialogue that purports to include direct speech of Jesus Christ. It is regarded as an apocryphal text by the Vatican, (as are the contents of the Nag Hammadi scripts which contain the lost gospels of Thomas and Mary Magdalene), and the patently obvious reason for this, is that the church feels directly threatened by the greatest message that Jesus gave, that being that God is accessible within, and one does not have to go through the ecclesiastics. The Pistis Sophia is not an easy read by any stretch of the imagination, and yet to the stubborn seeker such as myself there are gems a plenty to be found within its depths. In his discourses within it, Jesus acknowledges that he is a multi-aspected being of which his greatest light stems forth from Sabaoth who resides in a higher Aeon than is present on Earth. It seems to me that Jesus had such a tough time because he was trying to explain the meaning and workings of life the universe and everything, (and not always to the brightest pupils). He comes across as being a very patient and supportive person when attempting to ascertain if his disciples are understanding his teachings. It is clear however that his Mother Mary, and Mary Magdalene have by far the greater grasp. Perhaps this is why Peter was so hostile toward Mary Magdalene? Jesus also tries hard to explain the journey of the soul and the terrain that it has to pass in order to reach the human vehicle, emphasising that the souls that have elected to do so are on a particularly arduous path, but at the end of which they may be rewarded eternally at the time of ascension, as he remarked ....and the last shall enter the gates of heaven first... He also explains that the soul enters a realm via the solar body, and suggests that in our realm it is the planetary effects of what we see as the zodiac which defines our existence, perspective, drives and personality. From this I have construed that each dimension has its own solar body of soulular entry. Higher dimensions having a higher light quotient than that of ours, (which currently is at the densest edge of the scale). It is also my understanding that the Kabbalistic tree is an attempt to map the regions (or dimensions) that exist between man (currently located at Kether) and Godhead at the top of the tree. Each of the spheres represented on that tree therefore are representative of different Aeons/regions/dimensions and when Jesus talked of Melchisedek (who is reported in the bible to be King of Righteousness), this is a being that resides in the fifth sphere rather than holding a kingdom upon earth. This coincides with the analogy, The house of my Lord has many mansions. Another quote that springs to my mind is as above, so below and it seems to me that by recruiting 12 disciples, Jesus was attempting to create a body of people to represent the zodiac, and similarly this might also be held to be true of the 12 tribes of Israel. Returning to the astrological element however, when we look out into space, other than the stellar bodies that are within our solar system, the naked eye cannot see any other planets, all that we see are suns in other systems, and hence do they represent possible portals of soul entry into other dimensions? Sirius is a binary star system, The Pleiades a seven star system, the beings that have over time been reported to come from them and have been regarded as aliens may then ultimately be discerned as beings not from other planets but from other dimensions and as such would they need craft to visit us? It is clear from What Jesus says in the Pistis Sophia that there are safeguards which exist between the dimensions, and these are in place to maintain entities in there proper realms, it is not clear whether this is just in a corporeal sense or whether it includes astral capability though. It seems that travel from higher dimension to lower is permissible, but is frowned upon if attempted in the other direction, generally because it has historically been an avenue for stealing levels of power that are not appropriate to the lower levels, and those that have succeeded in usurping such powers have abused them on return to the lower dimension whence they came. I have recently read that the bible refers to a tetrad of red moons as being an indicator of the end of times, we are now allegedly in the midst of those red moons and the final one is not only a red moon, but a blue one too and that is due in September 2015. The end of times it seems to me, coincides with what the Mayans refer to as the time of entering a new sun, and may also describe what is energetically referred to as ascension. If this is the case, the calculation of Winter Solstice 2012 as being the window for such change, may turn out to be a miscalculation of a mere 2 years.
