What a hike! The worst conditions our guides have experienced this season. Winds that blew us near off our feet, rain lashing our faces like pins, visibility of a few metres at times. Everyone made it to the top of the zigzags 1200m but sadly 4 were forced to turn back. The guides were reluctant to take anyone higher but we begged for a shot at the summit and 8 of us made it! No view, freezing cold, howling wind and rain and a long slippery descent but it was brilliant! Hot bath and cuppa tea at the travelodge and w are ready to celebrate :-)
