What a joy to make music with my new partners in (cut) time, Debbie Dault and Woodie Ray Lawson. We come from common musical background, which provides many great jumping-off spots as we traverse the course of a performance. The blues give way effortlessly to old country, then its time to rock. Shifting gears like were driving a Porsche; riding the path unbroken. This week, it turns out, the Rip Tones will be at the Flats in Port Aransas, and you should be advised that a splendid time is guaranteed for all. At nine on Saturday commences this weekends musical trek, both metaphorically and actually. This is plenty of excitement for a fellow who is excited just to wake each day.
