What a morning surprise we had. Our alarm went off at 2.43am and yes three men broke into our back chillier and stole a Pig and Half of mutton. They had hoodies on and knew where the camera were and tried to cover up their faces. They used a crow bar. We had noticed a suspicious car around that time and the number plate has been taken and given to the police. So if you happen to know anyone who has gone pig hunter or mutton hunter this morning let us know lol. The pig is from the works so it is a clean processed pig not a homekill pig. We have them on camera the car was parked by the museum you can see the car lights turn off before they broke in and carried the meat down towards the museum. We will be checking the town cameras for confirmation of the car. All locals out there beware the town has a lot of break ins around so keep an eye out of any suspicious activity and report this. The main thing is no one was hurt and our german shepherd was ready for action and with us in the car. On Saturday the railway café was broken into and the week before that trainspotter. There has been a few businesses hit this year. Community watch everyone lets put these criminals where they belong.
