What a perfect week to give thanks...not in the spirit of a holiday but because you know that you are blessed! I had an unfortunate accident last Saturday that resulted in surgery, 8 screws and a plate to reconnect my collarbone. Please dont comment asking what happened...its my preference that this story doesnt make Facebook headlines. If you know the story already I am asking you to respect my wishes to keep the details off of Facebook. I am so thankful that God protected me from what could have been fatal. I am thankful for Shane Scott who acted quickly to assess the situation and to make sure that my best interests were at the center of every decision. I am thankful to Bradley Nelson who was my first responder and who went many miles out of his way today to bring me my meds. I am thankful to Jennifer Schroeder who spent a fair amount of her day off away from her dad who was visiting to pick me up from the hospital, call my family and bring me home on Friday. I am thankful to my friend and neighbor, Pamela Joy Smith for being my 24 hour care giver through the woods! Thank you Dr. Caron & team for your guided hands and gentle spirit...you make a difference everyday and for that I am grateful! While I have a long road to recovery ahead...I am feel better each day! Thank you all for being there for me!!!
