What a selfless thing to do on your own birthday... To post a song - TopicsExpress

What a selfless thing to do on your own birthday... To post a song she wrote a day or two ago about her Mamaw Ward, my precious Mom, and the grief I went through - and still go through - after losing her to a very short battle with cancer. This song will touch anyone who has felt the loss of a loved one. Thank you, Chelsea, for putting this into words. Happy Birthday! I love you so much ! ❤️❤️❤️. This is what Chelsea posted on YouTube about the song ---- Published on Oct 8, 2014 -- My Grandma ( my Moms Mom ) lost her very short battle with cancer what definitely does not seem like a few years ago, now. She was so sweet and caring, and the hardest worker that I ever knew. She worked every day up until she got too sick to. Three short months after we all found out that it was cancer, we lost her. It seems surreal even now, because she was literally completely fine, and then all of a sudden, she was just gone. I kind of wrote this song from the perspective of my mom, and how heartbreaking it must be to lose a mother. Anyone who has lost someone dear to them can relate to this song, I think, anyway. First its disbelief. It doesnt feel like life can even go on without that person. Then, sadness and grief. Then, wondering if you could have changed something even when you couldnt have. I hope they find a cure for cancer soon. My Mamaw always said she wanted to live to be 93, so I titled this 93 for her and in her sweet memory. We love you, Mamaw Ward.
