What a strange(in a nice way) evening. I came down for this special dinner with an attorney friend & his wife at 4:30pm. At 5 or so Mr. & Mrs. Travolta arrived but sat behind me(wed met on a couple of occasions before). Then at 6pm Dwayne Johnson & Mark Walberg walked in. Hell, its Valentines Day, so I just went on with my conversation. The attorney, Skip, gets up & everyone pushes tables together. Uh oh, he knows Im retired! After 2 glasses of plum wine & a gin(note, Sarah, gin) gimlet I listened, but I wasnt happy. At any rate, one of them has a child who needs my particular kind of expertise before they can move on with a project. The meal was excellent, especially the sea urchin. I said Id get back to them on Monday. Apparently, theyre not so used to that, but Ive said yes too fast in the past. Anyway, Im happy, satiated, & called a car service to take me to the Hilton.
