What a top day out. Myself, Kenneth and Quentin went for a super blast on our 1950s vethpa scooteroos. The plan was to ride the two miles from my penthouse flat to Bettys tea and fairycake rooms. Mmmmmmm fairys. We started of in fine fettle, when Kenneth came to a complete stop at the side of the road. When asked what could possibly be the matter old chum? He exclaimed that he just couldnt carry on with this epic journey. At that point a spotty oik went whizzing past on what can only be described as half a scooter. I was soon to learn that the proper term for said scooter was in fact a lammy cutdown. Quentin insisted that we pull our spandex horse riding pants up, and endeavor to make the rest of the journey, even if we chipped a nail doing it. So, with a tad under two miles to go, we set off once again. The journey so far went without any mechanical issues, that was until my beloved collection of small furry animals otherwise known as teddy bears decided to part company from the suitcase that was on my rear rack. Kenneth ran straight over Mr tiddels, which was very upsetting. Poor Mr tiddels now has the print of Kenneths white wall tires over his iddy biddy belly. Several hours later myself Kenneth and Quentin had retrieved all of my beloved miniature Teddys, and carefully placed them back in to the suitcase in alphabetical order. Off we set again on our epic journey and our quest for fairy cakes. With just over a mile to go, Kenneth decided it was time to stop and have a Ciggy. So out came the silkcut and fizzy pop for a well deserved break. Two hours had passed by, so Kenneth decided to check if our engines had cooled down sufficient enough to carry on with our delightful journey. Kenneth said that all three engines were still a tad warm, and to be on the safe side we should give it another hour. So we lit up another ciggy and consumed the rest of the fizzy pop. By know our back up van had finely caught up with us, so not wanting to put anymore stress upon our warm engines we decided to put the three vethpa scooteroos into the back of said van and make our way to fairy cake heaven. We got there in the end, and suffice to say the fairy cakes and sticky buns were absolutely delicious. So until next time chums......and remember the club logo....ride sensible, ride safe. I bid you all good night
