What a trip! We started in Georgia and visited with our dear friends; had dinner with a dear missionary from our Provo ward; went to South Carolina and visited more dear friends; met up with our girls in Wilmington, NC; went to Topsail and Atlantic Beach; saw Fort Macon; took a short ferry ride out to Shackleford Banks and hiked around until we saw horses and near-perfect shells; took a long ferry ride to Okracoke Island; took a medium ferry ride to Hatteras; learned all about Orville and Wilbur Wright in Kill Devil Hills (it didnt actually happen in Kitty Hawk); and we are flying out of Norfolk, VA at zero-dark-thirty in the morning. We rescued shells; found sarongs that are saright; made footprints and took pictures; washed sand out of swimming suits, many times; applied sunscreen liberally but had to apply aloe vera liberally anyway; giggled a lot; had lots of fresh seafood; and we are Delightfully Exhausted!!
