What a very loooong, very WET week!!!!!! Last Saturday we made the looooong journey up to Stafford to compete at Scope Festival with Chamora! The first day we jumped in the championship arena and just had 4 faults. After that the heavens opened and it rained all night and all day. In our next class jumped the first phase clear and in the jump off Chamora lost her back end on take off and slid straight through the jump! The pictures are very interesting and were lucky to of got away with only a twisted shoe and missing clenches. As a result Scope cancelled all Tuesday classes and our last class was on Wednesday back on the grass arena. We produced a slow double clear and came 24th out of 180 to finish on a good note! The rosette is stunning. Lots and lots of bargains were bought at scope! New haynets, long riding boots, socks, lead ropes, rugs, headcollars! Bargain hunting!!! Also Meet Arty (14.2h 3yr appaloosa x connemara) and Casper (Full connemara 5yr old) who have arrived today! Casper is in for jump training and the beautiful Arty in for breaking!
