What a week!! Brrrrr....survived the cold in Rapid City, SD at the Black Hills Stock Show It was 5 below zero when we went to get the Halter horses ready but it ended up being a GREAT show. It is always a pleasure to show in such a nice environment, great show staff and judges. Congratulations to Betty Wilson, owner of Coolest Ambition, Grand Champion Stallion under all 3 judges. Also, Kate Castleman, owner of Too Chilly To Streak, Grand Champion mare under all 3 judges. Maris Meister, owner of Grand Charade, a Reserve Champion mare in open and amateur. Congratulations to Wally Cash and Twentyfourkarat Rebel on earning their first point. ( It was Kiddos first time out.) I cant forget to mention JMK Superstar, Grand Champion gelding under all 3 judges. We left after halter on Tuesday, as I had to go to Tulsa, OK to pick up my 30 year pin from PHBA at the CBC. It has been an honor to serve as a judge for 30 years!! I will say judging is not for the faint of heart! Thank you Palomino Breeders of America.
