What a week! Dom displayed brilliant performance throughout the whole series of the SA DUNLOP OPEN STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS, held at Monarto-which involved most of the best go karters in Australia who traveled all the way from across the country to compete against some of the best go karters SA has to offer. Results: Qualifying=8th Heat 1=9th Heat 2=14th (with major kart damage from incidents during the race) Pre-finals=dropped to15th from a few driver errors in last few laps FINALS= 13TH POSITION OVERALL!!! Including the fact that Dom was the TOP POSITION out of the 6 drivers from SA (20 all up in Australia) AND completed 3/4 of the finals with a chain tight enough to snap any moment (feels like the brakes are on permanently) Highly proud that our rookie pushed on regardless of major mechanical issues:) Big thanks to Craig Denton from TD Racing, Kym from Omega Karts Australia, Craig Henderson from Henderson Racing and Phil Cash and Rob Pittam for your help! Also a special thankyou to Asher Johnson from Check It Out Graphics and Susan Quigly from QMotorsport Imports for the last minute stickers;)and for wearing your Caminiti Racing hats with pride at the race track and visiting Dom!
