What a weekend!! We had a nice drive home and got Thomas Williams on his plane to Phoenix. Diane Ireland is staying with us for a couple of weeks and we have some more gigs to do before she heads for home. Jim Curry has gone to bed and I have more than 200 e-mail messages in my in-box!!!! Bear with me - I am determined to answer each one, you might get short answers this week, Lol!! I have so many people to thank - all who attended events in Monterey, CA for Blue Water Weekend - all who helped in so many different ways, posting photos, schlepping gear, buying groceries, etc. Thanks for all of the support and encouragement from everyone who attend and those who could not. Thanks to all of you who have given your weekend and traveled great distances - we appreciate you! Special thanks to Marc Paulhus who did so much to promote the weekend and get the word out to the public about the events. He did a great job getting sponsors and support from the businesses in Pacific Grove and Monterey. Im not sure, but I think he was able to pull some strings to get us a sunny day on the beach Sunday..... Blue Water Weekend is not a new event - this gathering has been going on for 17 years now, and our true appreciation has to go to those that have already been there....those who have been traveling and planning and supporting each other on this weekend from the start. Our involvement is meant to support and grow Blue Water Weekend and the appreciation of John Denver, in a way that will make it clear to the public that John WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN. Johns legacy is the stuff that legends are made of, to be passed from generation to generation. So lets take all weve learned to the planning table for next year. We would appreciate your input, so please while its fresh in your mind, send me a private message and let me know whats good and whats not. Please do not post here, I might miss it (sometimes facebook goes too fast for me) and I do NOT want to spark any arguments between people on my page. Thank you again EVERYONE!!!!! -Anne
