What a wonderful day we had today....meeting three winemakers and there families ... Some made wine just for the family and neighbours....selling it for €1 a litre...its called house wine and its gorgeous ....the vineyards had been in there families for many many years and the vines are all organic..no sprays everything is traditional....they also press there olives....the photo shows the third vineyard we went to. Its was probably the most commercial..this man amazing ....his wife inherited her fathers land and vineyard...he was a truck driver knew nothing about wine...he is self taught and now has award wining wines..all in ten years....he does everything himself it is his passion.....
