What an amazing weekend ~ So proud of John Farinelli and Joe Vasil as they were just beyond awesome running 28 hours for John Owen and all his Duchenne Brothers! We are so blessed by our beyond amazing friends, family and community. It was simply awesome to run them in this morning ~ we are so happy they were safe and no injuries! I am not sure if you notice, in this picture at mile 96 they are both standing and smiling - that was how they were with me the last 4 miles and I am certain how they were the entire 100 ~ Amazing men of God - He carried their amazing hearts and minds on this adventure of a lifetime! Tomorrow is another big day for JOA as we hit the links thanks to Tom & Becky Duke Hudach - Literally Tony and I have not had to lift a finger for this event they took care of every single detail and we are just blown away by the amount of golfers coming and the 18 hole sponsors!!! Even more crazy is all the donations they were able to gather for the silent auction. Derail Duchenne!!!!! They got this one! John Owen has no idea at his tender age what this all means. We, however, do. How can a simple thank you ever be enough to those that constantly strive to CHANGE HIS LIFE? We love you - we are humbled - we are blessed and we are living this adventure xoxoxoxoxo
