Sitting by the pool with a glass of wine, combed out my wet, just washed hair and thinking about what I am thankful for. I was challenged to write about my gratitudes, and this will be my one and only post. I am thankful to have a job I love and to be able to enter my school knowing there are people around me that are my caring loving friends. I do not always see them every day, but I know they are close by and they are there for me, as I am for them. I have friends outside of school that I have known, loved and been thankful for going back over 50 years. I love all of you. I am so thankful for Tim, who has brought so much love and happiness to my life. We have now nearly finished rebuilding this beautiful home together that we will spend the rest of our lives in (he is grilling chicken for me right now☺️). I am so thankful to be blessed with a sister and two brothers that are a huge part of my life and I love very much. I am blessed to know and be part of Tims amazing family- they have accepted and embraced me as part of their family. I thank them also. I am so thankful to have my cat Mollie, who talks to me, sleeps on my pillow and kisses me. She and I have been together for 15 years now. I thank God for giving me a son 32 years ago that I will always love and care about, as I pray for his happiness and contentment with his own life each day. I have so many blessings in my life and I choose to be thankful for them each day and know that sadness and heartache are part of everyones life at one time or another but we all have each other and I am grateful.
