What an awesome day at Eagles Nest, on Friends Sunday. A super crowd of family, friends and new visitors. Praise and worship was off the chain this morning. Valle, Pansy, Prince, Terry,....just awesome. Our sound techs, Jack, Charlie, Gregg, Tim, and Chelsea, you were amazing too. Great to meet all the visitors and to welcome, Sheila, to our nursery staff. Thanks to Jody and Lilly for your generous spirit. If you like singing, then the Nest was the place to be. Tommy Kemp sang, Friends are Friends Forever, and Prince sang, The Anchor Holds. We even had James Taylor singing, You Got a Friend. Great song and video. My message today was concerning the parable of the good Samaritan. Everybody needs a good Friend. 1. Those who need a friend, 2. Those who could have been a friend, 3. Those who will be a friend when the need arrives. We had a powerful time of healing prayer for my Son, Dustin. We have prayed for his healing and speedy recovery. Wonderful to know that we have a Friend like Jesus. Be the friend this week that you would like others to be to you!!!! Love God and Love People.
