What an awesome day yesterday. We went up to Mount Hutt skiing. The day started out at -5degrees. Chilly start. By lunch time the sun was shining and got to 0 . The snow was 3.8m thick at the top and 3m down at the office area. For those that have been there about 1/4 of the deck area was still covered in snow as high as the building. The rest had been dug out. We got there at 9am and the second car park was only a couple of rows away from being full. It was good skiing with nice powdery snow. Biff is giving skiing a go this year. Usually snow boards. He did really well considering he has never had skiis on before. Roll on next weekend.
