What an emotional day! Twelve hours at school that ended with our Back to School Night (the first one that was held the night before school starts). Thus, many things I should do to get ready for class tomorrow got pushed back while I got ready for the parents. But it was nice to get to meet the 17 of 26 families who came. (Well, it was more than 50% this year!) So I brought home lots to do tonight. But first a sprinkler to switch out, and, while in the garage, I found a small tarantula. He was just relaxing by Geoffs exercise equipment. Then, while I was making nametags for class tomorrow, Geoff came in with the news of Robin Williams death. That has really knocked the wind out of my sail. He was like a family member. We are all stunned by his passing. There are no words for this loss.
