What an eventful weekend! I took a two day course in Burnaby with my brother Kelly and on the way back got a flat tire...didnt fret, We just packed up the guitars and my violin and hitchhiked without any trouble into Merit and landed at the Chevron. I had no spare so I made one call and that was all....we thought wed jam and get creative while we waited...next thing you know a guy gives us props and gives us a fresh pizza. Sweet right? It gets better! Another fella strolls up and says hes got some harmonicas in the car and grabs said harps...proceeds to shred these things with tenacity and skill...the people inside the the restaurant are digging it so they bring us some fries....turns out that guy has a couple albums and has toured in Germany and would like to have us on a song or five...... Aye just want to take a moment to thank two of my favorite people Curtis Spencer and Tracy McLauchlan-spencer for bringing a tire all the way past merit from Kamloops despite their busy schedule for me and saving the day...night.....whatever haha and Big ups to my boy Travis Nelson Drums for letting my brother Kelly Wright and I crash at his pad in Burnaby this weekend....life is good!
