Happy birthday to one of my oldest (not in age) friends and one who made me feel like I really had a gift and there would be a reason for me to get well one day! Read below and please go on Lynne Whites Facebook and wish her a Happy Birthday too! Those on the east coast may remember Lynne from Foxs morning show where she was for 15 years... Happy Birthday beautiful girl! Youre more beautiful today than you were in 1996, the year we began speaking with each other! Its been a long time since weve seen each other, but I have a message for you from Aunt Anna... Just two days ago I found a card she sent to me in 2002 sending me all her prayers and thanking me for my gift. Inside the envelope which she gave me when we met in Santa Monica in Aug, of 2002 where I had take a picture of her in her beautiful white suit. She was so sweet and made me feel as though I had a family member waiting for me to cheer me on at a time when I was so ill, but getting better and hugged me like we knew each other forever. The next card I found in the envelope was her obituary -she had passed away just four months later in Dec. of 2002. I can remember her asking me at the seminar if she was going to live a long time. I replied, You have the ability to live to see 100. Her answer was, Dear God, no I dont want to live that long, I want to live as long as Im independent and able to take care of myself. I know this may sound like a sad birthday message, but it isnt Lynne! Our beautiful Aunt, which she told me to call her whenever we spoke when I got back to NY loved you more than anything and wants you to know that youll live and long and healthy physical life because you are with and are consumed by love here in the physical and from your mother (Valentines Day) rebirth and all those others who love you in this plane as I do and know how much youve done for people without ever asking for a thank you! Well, my sister-Lynne - you may not want a Thank you! But, Thank you for being my friend! if it werent for you making me feel there was a reason to live while I was in bed with MS all those years and your waving to my with your angel pen I had sent to you, I dont believe I would still be here and looking and feeling normal as people define it! God Bless you and keep you in his loving arms and know that not a day goes by that I dont miss you voice and your sweet friendship. #LoveUMore, Mary Occhino
