What an excellent night at the NDA for the Children In Need fundraiser. So many people top thank for making it a success. Peppa Pig and the Minion were a hit with the kiddies, As were the Frozen singers and a special mention to the 99th Garrison. A brilliant group who were a hit with everyone (Thank you again guys for accepting my invitation to attend). Everything went down well and the event was a success. Both Stanley Town Council and Stanley Events deserve a special mention for supporting and managing the event in a very efficient way. As so does the North Durham Academy for hosting the event.And, of course, Lewis Christie, whose idea the event was. The musical acts in the theatre were all fantastic and the hard work put into the stalls in the atrium paid off as well. Above all, thank you to everyone who came along and made the event a success. Oh, and the event even got a mention on the BBCs Children in Need broadcast at 21:17 A full report, with images, will be appearing in a couple of local lifestyle magazines and the local press.
