What an expensively productive day. Went down to Tandy Leather to use my $10.00 gift certificate, but one can never just spend 10 dollars there. ;) Then off to the mechanics to get my struts and bearings replaced, all these weekly trips to Tucson for work has been taking their toll. Well, what was I to do, sit and wait for hours at the mechanics, or go around the corner to my nail salon....yes, one must do what one must do...lol While I was busy doing that, Hal was playing host to our AC people, the blower wheel was having issues and the seal was cracked, so he got that all taken care of. Then I needed to stop and pick up stocking stuffers for the grandkids. Got home and took Shawn to the bank, his card never showed up for his checking account, that he set up when he started working last month. Seems they had sent it to the wrong address, but thats all fixed now. He did find out that his paycheck had been direct deposited, which we hadnt expected for the first one, so he had money in his account he didnt know existed. We then went to the store and picked up groceries and a few Christmas presents. He also made his first purchase with his first paycheck from his first job (video game of course...lol)....I think it made his day.
