What an incredible day we had at Allred Prison. I really do not have the words to express how I feel. I cried when the choir sang. I was in awe of one of the inmate s moving testimony, but I think what really got to me was when the inmates were leaving to go back to their cells, one of them told me that he hoped I would have a good Mothers Day. When we walked into the prison, there were older women (I am going to assume that they were moms) visiting with the inmates who were most likely their sons. I know that these moms did not want their sons to make the choices that landed them in prison. My heart broke for those mothers...since I am a mom, and we are all a part of this motherhood. It was a great day, and I am truly blessed.
