What an incredible experience! After parish dinners, tours, salons, charrettes and symposiums in 35 cities, we (Tim, Dwight and I) are filled with wonder and gratitude. One of the most important new joys that we experienced was being able to walk with so many Leadership in the New Parish Fellows in your own context. To discover your graceful leadership, faithful presence and the long term collaborative links that you have made was so meaningful. The Spirit is moving and we have witnessed beautiful acts of love, care and faithful imagination from so many of your lives. While we sincerely wish we could have visited every one of the Fellows because we have heard of so many good experiments and committed acts of faithful friendship, we are grateful to all those we were able to visit. And a very special thanks to our dear brother and collaborator Sean Hall for joining us on much of the tour with his wisdom, songs and stories. Andrew Tarrant Graham McMahon Sean Hall John Erik Pattison Kirk Lauckner Amy Pilkington Lauckner Jorge Tovar Jr. Cary Campbell Umhau Glen Soderholm Todd Rubie Brian Bajari Justin Noseworthy Dan McCarthy Elizabeth Sparks Charis Weathers Will all of you consider spreading the word and inviting those practitioners you know would be encouraged by participating with us in the year to come. Lets grow the circle of friendship, mutual learning, and deep support in the parish. My friend Rachael Anne Clinton is the admissions counselor at the The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology for Leadership in the New Parish and would love to help in any way if you have ideas or interest - [email protected] or at 206.876.6144.
