What an insane year. Last August I sat 6th row at the Justin/Jay Z show with Jennifer. When I stood up on my chair and he saw me, I was BEYOND ecstatic. Back in the NSYNC days, I NEVER thought hed lay eyes on me (It was a rough life, asking the parents for money to buy tickets yet again, and begging whoever would listen for rides to the shows, all to sit nosebleed). Little did I know that 18 days later I would be face to face having a conversation with him in New Jersey. And that I would be hugging him at the end. ✨!!!!! I was tempted to never let go. Life = Complete. In February Danielle and I made signs that said, Remember us? We met you on the set of your Target commercial. We held them up at the most opportune moment, at which he STOPPED, read the signs, smiled and said YES! and gave us some love. If THAT wasnt enough, July 10th I went to NYC for a private, small venue show where I ended up in the second row. He spotted me (amongst others) then pointed out that he sees some faces that he has seen over and over again and that he genuinely, genuinely appreciates ALL of us. That all he ever wanted to do was make music that made people feel something. (HELLO!) It really means the world to me to see you over and over again, and I just love you so much. Ok NOW life = complete. But then there was this show last weekend. The first half was torture because we knew he would be coming over to us, but we had no idea what to expect out of it. I had a folded up sign in my pocket. Thank you Alesia and Gina for getting half the footage shown here, since I was out. of. my. mind half the time (dalé!). Look for my pink bracelet. First you see me clutching his sweaty fingers and blabbering something about Its SO nice to meet you again, youre doing amazing tonight, I love you so much, etc etc. Then there was Justin strumming the guitar and singing Not A Bad Thing, and me living life with my little sign thats asking for his guitar pick. The cutie reads my sign and gives me a nod, then when the lights go out he puts his guitar down and signals to me that hes going to give it to me. What you dont see because Gina, Alesia and I are losing our sh*t is him pointing me out to a security guard and handing him the pick. Im now investing in a safe to house this piece of priceless plastic. And Im never washing my left hand again.
