What an inspiring story! What would you do if you get $131 for free only if commit to bring happiness to others? McCann and Watergun want to remind people that spreading happiness is possible, even in times of recession. Directors collective Watergun directed this uplifting on-line commercial as part of Coca-Cola Spain’s campaign “What would you do with 100€?” for McCann Spain to encourage people to share and make others happy when they least expect it. The idea revolved around the Happiness Dispenser, an ATM built entirely from scratch that will give 100€ to anyone who would commit to using the money to bring happiness to others. The machine was then placed in different public spaces to let people discover and interact with it. No one was really sure what would happen or whether participants would really share the money but Watergun was there to follow up and document some of the sharing adventures. Three coordinated teams were ready to capture these experiences all over Madrid, while others just sent their videos to be included in the final piece.
