What an interesting season 2014 has been so far, Im sure there must be something in the water as weve had a crazy amount of new guys join the club since July...................13 in total so far, theyve brought with them another four vehicles (Including armour), a 37mm, an 81mm mortar, a stack of equipment and more tents to add to what the group already has. Sometimes groups go through peaks and troughs and the dynamics change as people come and go but in this our 15th year were probably at our strongest yet. Im super enthusiastic about next season and theres a real mixed bag of events on the go for us, everything from winter training in Finland to a trip to Jersey to support our member Ricky who helps to organise the main event over there. Well have the usual events as well like the Yorkshire Wartime Experience which has endless potential and obviously the Victory Show which will be celebrating its 10th year. Well be looking to expand on our Ranger Recruitment Centre for the kids as well as doing more serious displays of our vehicles and equipment. Well look forward to seeing our friends and fellow re-enactors at an event soon and if you dont know us come over and introduce yourself...........you may find yourself being assimilated into the group.............we are after-all the Borg of the re-enactment world. :-)
