What are our politicians doing to address the real problems in our country? Despite the ever increasing cost of living, small business being over taxed and over regulated, politicians are entitled to another massive pay increase. We seem to be more interested in who is the most popular Politician instead of policy. Rates always increase, power bills always go up, cost of living in general always going up ... Political parties all want our votes come election time, but has the cost of living ever decreased? Has it ever got easier for single pensioners or single mums? How is it for single mums going from the parenting payment to new start a help? How is it even possible to get into the housing market with anything under $350,000 considered a dump? What will happen when interest rates rise (and they will) ... What will happen to our own farming industry when food is bought cheaper elsewhere and imported? What will happen to local shops and variety when people can just buy cheaper elsewhere via e-bay etc? And our politicians say they deserve a pay increase? What are WE getting for our money?????????
