What can we offer in time like these different from our political opponents if there are any? My beloved friends, my sisters, my brothers, we all have fought against social injustices one way or another. We should not allow our energy and effort go in vain. We fought because we needed freedom; we fought for tolerance and harmony. But it has been very unfortunate that our oppressor leaders deliberately have chosen to keep us poor and beggars. We see deceits, corruption, affront, hardship as the order of the day but there are solutions, and we can begin solving those problems now, especially these 2014 elections. It is our beacon of hope.it is now appropriate we change leadership; we have to change the embarrassing situation. We are your options for 2014 in Bassa. These are some of many things we bring to the table. We see our education system in Bassa losing competitive fronts and dropping down the ladder as we all can admit that Nimba, Lofa, Bong, Montserrado, and Margibi are far ahead of the second capital in students’ ratio and performance. It does not seem that we are not brilliant but our leaders are not taking advantage of opportunities and using the unforeseen method to help safe our people. Education is bedrock for any nation that means well. As senator we will provide 20 scholarships yearly for our students in different field to go abroad, as senator we will waive our agriculture package to education for our unfortunate kids up to the nine years, if we still maintained nine years. As senator we will improve all sectors of sports, and grab on opportunities for our people to go abroad and explore. Yes we will. As senator we will revamp our health sectors by establishing clinics through our networking in all rural communities and urban communities. Also revamping the two hospitals in the county to keep our people lives secure at a high level. There are great Bassa guys that are studying abroad and in the country and other former schoolmates and classmates from different counties that have accepted to help revamp our county health sectors. As senator we are interested in agriculture and we must grow food. Training of teachers, helping our fishermen, staying in contacts with traditional leaders and Zoes are amongst key things we will do to create a wholesome Bassa. We referred to this as ‘’Protest and Movement’’. Fellow Bassa people, young and old, men and women, boys and girls please wakeup to the call of a new day. Wakeup, come along, standup with us so that we can free ourselves. We are the ones cheated, we are the ones robbed, we are the ones attacked, and we are the ones undermined.
