What could possibly go wrong? The deployment of the troops cant take place until their leader, Derek Poe, stands trial for disorderly conduct in Beaumont. But assuming he gets through that okay, he and his boys will be off to play soldier. I wonder if these guys have any idea of how terribly complex immigration law is? We do have laws on the books for dealing with people who show up at our borders. Border patrol agents must know the law. What are these guys planning on doing? Just pointing their guns at brown skinned people and shooing them back across the river? And how are they imagining the border between Texas and Mexico? I little stretch of land with a river front that they can march back and forth alongside? The border is VERY long and covers all sorts of terrain and private property. The people crossing it are quite good at finding the remotest areas to cross. Im not sure if an armed patrol on the bit of river down from the Arbys is going to do much good.
