What do we know about this data and what other subjects are taught in the classroom that allow student growth in problem solving and living in a democracy? What we do know in the United States per our data is that the development of the technology base industry world wide was the brainchild of Bill Gates (American born and educated) and not Bill Kim or Bill Chin or Bill Patel. That is a fact that we can measure in money and power. Most Americans have leverage over other countries because they have the diversity of intellect living and learning in a democracy that supports the education of all its people and not just a select few. They have the opportunity to grow, experience, and develop at their own developmental learning rate in or out of schools when they feel they are ready. That is the beauty of living in a democracy and a least restrictive community. Our students do not work in factories or are used as cheep farm labor.
