I am glad Obama endorsed net neutrality. Now, the Federal Communications Commission is more likely to protect all of the Internet and keep it the same for all Americans. B. Allowing fast and slow lanes on the Internet makes sense. If a website wants its content delivered to Internet users faster it is willing to pay for the additional speed, they should be allowed to. C. The Internet is a public utility and should be protected like electricity and water. The government should be the primary Internet provider. D. If the FCC imposes net neutrality, it will harm private investment and innovation in the Internet. Following Obama’s announcement, shares of Internet service providers already fell today.
