What does it take to get a meeting with your Congressman? NPR Morning Edition looks at a few different approaches, including the findings of a recent study that shows Members of Congress are more likely to accept meetings with their donors than their constituents, thereby helping to show the effect special interests have on our political system. For decades, the League has supported efforts to stop the web of dark money that is overtaking our political system and to ensure that citizen participation in the political process is not drowned out by special interests and big money donors.
